Terms of Service

These terms cover paid services booked through ryanbickett.com. Services are provided and billed by Eminence Media LLC, Ryan Bickett’s marketing business. “I” and “me” mean Ryan Bickett and Eminence Media LLC. Larger projects and monthly work also get a short written agreement.

Strategy Sessions

• Sessions are paid in full when you book.
• You can reschedule once at no charge with at least 24 hours’ notice.
• If the session isn’t useful, tell me within 7 days and I’ll refund it.
• If you hire me for a 90-Day Marketing Plan or Fractional CMO work within 30 days, the session fee counts toward it.

Plans, retainers and contract work

• 90-Day Marketing Plans are paid in full before kickoff.
• Fractional CMO and monthly contract work are billed at the start of each month.
• Fractional CMO work starts with a 90-day term, then continues month to month. Either of us can end it with 30 days’ written notice after the first 90 days.
• Ad spend, software, printing and outside vendors are billed separately and approved by you first.
• Invoices are due on receipt unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Ownership and confidentiality

Once paid for, the work I create for you belongs to you. I may keep a copy for my records. I keep your business information confidential and will sign an NDA on request.

No guarantees of results

Marketing results depend on many things outside my control. I commit to doing careful, professional work, but I can’t guarantee specific leads, sales or rankings.

Limits

My total responsibility for any claim is limited to the fees you paid me for the service in question. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota.
